Typically it will take a minimum of 3-6 months to work. Look for the existing nail to start to look more clear from the bleaching agent and the new nail growing in at the back to replace the old nail with healthy new nail. See below for more information.
TREATMENT OF FUNGAL NAILS.
NFT20 is an effective topical treatment for fungal nail infections.
NFT20 contains Tolnaftate, an FDA approved topical medicine for the treatment of Dermatophytes, the fungus that causes nail and skin infections. In addtion to Tolnaftate, NFT 20 contains natural product that have been proven to kill fungus including Tea Tree oil and Manuka Tree oil.
With twice daily applictation of NFT20, the antifungal ingredients will start to kill fungus as it penetrates into the nail. Over the next several weeks to months the nail will become even more normal in color and begin to appear less thick and healthier.
In the final stages the new nail grows in appearing healthy and clear as the new nail slowly replaces the infected nail. (The exact length of time is dependent on how fast individual’s nails grow and differs from person to person.)

Most people will see some whitening of the nail within a few weeks from the effects of the ethanoic acid that bleaches the nail. At first you will see some clearing of the dark, yellow or cloudy color to the nail as this whitening agent changes the color of the nail plate. With more time.
TREATMENT OF NON FUNGAL NAILS INCLUDING NAIL SEPARATION, CRACKED NAILS AND BRITTLE NAILS.
Twice daily application of NFT20 can be used to emulsify nails, soften nails, and prevent cracking. As the multiple oil vehicle penetrates the nail it hydrates the layers of keratin giving the nail a more natural look and elastic feel, similar to how your nails feel after a bath when they are most hydrated.
For discolored nails that are not fungal, the bleaching agent in NFT20 will help to restore normal color to the nail.
For nails that have separated from the skin below them, the nail bed, NFT20 will help the nail plate to reattach. First you will need to carefully trim and/or file the detached nail plate back to the area where it attached to the skin. (Some cases may require a visit to your dermatologist or podiatrist for assistance with this.) File the end of the nail to a smooth, thin interface with the skin. Apply NFT20 twice daily to the entire nail plate, and surrounding skin cuticle, and the skin of the nailbed. Massage it in paying particular attention to the end of the nail where it meets the skin. As the nail grows in, it will reattach to the skin. Note: you may need to repeat the trimming and filing periodically as the nail grows.
